Bugaboo Stamps is having a challenge this week, January 30th - February 6. The challenge is called Valentines with a twist. Create a card, tag, layout or item that could be used for Valentine's Day. The twist is to use non-traditional Valentine colors, that means no pinks and no reds. They are even giving away prizes. To join the challenge go to Here is the card I made for the challenge.

I went with one of my friends to a painting class the other day. It's called Furoshiki, which is a Japanese wrapping cloth. It's used to wrap a present, or to carry things in. We painted on white cotton hankerchiefs. Mine says peace. It was kind of hard at first, but I managed to use different tools to paint with and tried not to be so specific with the drawings. It was fun.

Ok the challenge is over at the The Greeting Farm, however I wanted to post the cards I made. This is Toby Cub and he is found at He is cute, or should I say she is cute. My attempt was to make a Valentine's Day card, but I think it would be more appropriate for a baby girl (a baby shower card).

Greeting Farm stamps

Happy Monday. Hope everyone has a great week.

The Greeting Farm is giving away digi stamps each day this week as long as you make a card and post to their blog. Their stamps are found at If you post to their blog before the time limit, you are able to get the next stamp. Today's stamp is Mer Ian. He's cute, and I like fish and dolphins so much, I thought I better get working and make a card. Here is the card I made. I sure hope I get the stamp tomorrow.

Hello and good morning,
The sun is shining here in California. Yeah! It's very cold, but the rain stopped for now. Supposed to start raining again tomorrow for a couple of days. I'm so happy to be a part of the NSSS group. I have a new sister that I'm getting to know. (Hi Sis) We are sharing thoughts, prayers, praises, having a bible study, and doing swaps. I'm hoping we play Bingo, that's always fun. I'm going to work on swaps and cards today. Have a great Saturday.

Good morning. It's still raining here in California. The pool looks likes it going to overflow, Ikeep checking it everyday to see if it will. I'm working on a project but will need to post the pictures later. I also want to put my 2009 pictures in an album. I will post some pictures of the layouts when I get them completed.

This is the first day of my blog. Lately, I have enjoyed making cards. I would like to show you my first card I made for a challenge for one of the scrapbook clubs I belong to. Each week a sketch (pattern) is posted and we are to make a card to match the sketch. First is my card I made and then the sketch. I hope I win a prize.
